Initially broken down into geological disasters, hydrological disasters, meteorological disaster, and space disasters, this graphic organizer includes 17 different natural disasters such as sinkholes, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, tsunamis and many more. This can either be used as guided notes to supplement your instruction or can guide students collaborative or independent research. Check out this fun and engaging way to take science fair the next level and make it that much more meaningful. This round-robin activity allows students in your class to visit three other projects and learn about them. Included in each section, students will record the presenter, the project, the explanation and summary of the project and then positive things they identified. They are meant to repeat this three times with a reflection at the end, but it can easily be adapted to fit your setting.
